Brittany Jones
Brittany was raised outside of Atlanta, GA and has called St. Augustine home since 2005. She has a bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Parks & Tourism from the University of Florida, where she specialized in Event Management, as well as a master’s degree in Digital Entrepreneurship from Strayer University.
Driven by her love of celebrating and an innate passion for planning, Brittany took the leap into entrepreneurship in 2013 when she founded Uncorked Occasions. The name, inspired by her love of champagne, reflects her belief that many moments in life, both big and small, are worthy of celebration. For over a decade, she and her team have been providing unparalleled event consulting and coordination services for a diverse range of occasions, including weddings, corporate events, and nonprofit events near and far.
Brittany attributes her success to the incredible community of creatives, her exceptional team, and the wonderful clients she's had the privilege to work with. Entrepreneurship, for her, is a fulfilling journey that expands the boundaries of perfection through meticulous planning, innovative design, creative problem-solving, and occasional travel.
As the fearless leader of her girl gang, Brittany's positivity, calming nature, and unmatched energy make a lasting impression on everyone she meets. Building strong relationships with clients and vendors is not just a part of her job; it's a cherished aspect of her work that forms lasting friendships.
When she’s not busy planning for clients, she’s likely planning her next adventure! In her free time, you’ll find her jet setting with friends, balancing home life in two places with her military spouse, spending time with family, and enjoying live music and sporting events. Her favorite role in life is Aunt B (the favorite Aunt), and she loves to give back to her community. Brittany is not just an event planner; she's a curator of unforgettable moments and a connoisseur of a life well-lived.
SARAH GAYNOR
Sarah grew up in the small farm town of Henderson, Kentucky. She is the oldest of five siblings, three of which were adopted through foster care. She loves being a part of a large family and strives to always be the best example for her siblings! Sarah’s love for events started at a young age, as she would help design and plan different charity events for her town. She always made sure that every last detail was perfect, and she loved having this role in her community.
Sarah danced most of her life and competed across many states. She attended Jacksonville University, where she received her Bachelor’s in Finance and Marketing. Her college experience included planning events for her sorority and running recruitment for all of Jacksonville University’s Panhellenic sororities. While in school, Sarah managed to not only keep herself busy with two majors and holding positions in clubs, but she also worked at least two jobs every year. She started assisting the Uncorked Occasions team with events during her sophomore year of college and has fallen more in love with being a part of every couple’s special day as her tenure on the team has grown.
She’s a hustler, and we knew from our first meeting that she would be a full-time part of this team someday! When Sarah is not busy working, you can find her crafting, enjoying time outdoors, riding horses, and spending time with her family.
AMANDA BRUBAKER
Amanda is a St. Augustine native and has had the privilege of seeing our beautiful town grow into one of the most desired places for weddings (and to live). We first met Amanda when she was a bridesmaid in her best friend’s wedding at the Treasury on the Plaza. She was SO helpful to her friend, her fellow bridesmaids and our team that we could not resist bringing her on to assist on event days when she expressed interest! She is detail oriented, open to any and every task thrown her way, and she is an absolute joy to be around.
She and her husband Jeremy have three beautiful children, Aden, Gabby and Ethan, and boy do they keep Mom and Dad on their toes! You can find them at school, sporting events, volunteering in the community and enjoying time as a family.
When she is not at practice, a ball game or dance recital with her kids, Amanda is spending time with us working events. Did you hear that?!? She does this for FUN! It doesn’t get any sweeter than that, and we are truly blessed to have her as a part of team Uncorked!
TAYLOR TAPIA
As a native of the vibrant Bay Area in California, Taylor brings a touch of West Coast energy to our team! With a degree in International Business from the University of North Florida and over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, she has cultivated a passion for curating unforgettable events and celebrations.
She currently has the pleasure of managing strategic relationships in the corporate world from Monday to Friday. Working closely with Fortune 500 companies, she navigates the dynamic intersection between corporate giants and the non-profit organizations they support. This experience has not only honed her organizational and negotiation skills but has also allowed her to understand the delicate balance required to orchestrate successful and impactful events.
Taylor appreciates the nuances of quality experiences in her personal life which translates to her finding immense joy in helping our clients turn their visions into reality. Whether it’s a corporate affair or a personal celebration, she is dedicated to ensuring each event is a true reflection of our clients’ dreams, allowing them to be fully present and enjoy themselves!
Beyond the corporate world and event coordinating, she is the proud dog mama of a delightful chocolate lab named Brett. As the favorite aunt to two nieces and a nephew, family holds a special place in her heart, and she cherishes the moments spent creating memories with them. Taylor has a love for all things travel, music, and sports. You can most likely find her on a European adventure during the summer with her friends!
JANNA GASKINS
Janna is a Jacksonville native and a proud member of our team since joining us in 2022. Her academic journey led her to Jacksonville University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in communication and media studies. It was during her time at the university that Janna's enthusiasm for events flourished, as she actively participated in event planning for her sorority and Panhellenic activities.
In the year 2023, she achieved a noteworthy milestone by securing a well-deserved promotion to assistant supervisor at Mayo Clinic. While her weekdays are dedicated to fulfilling those professional responsibilities, her weekends seamlessly transition to contributing her time and skills to elevate our events and our clients’ experience.
Janna's commitment to excellence shines through, whether she's navigating her day job or coordinating events with team Uncorked. She is a hard worker, has an eye for detail and handles wedding day obstacles with ease!

WHITNEY FITZPATRICK
Whitney grew up in the small town of Thomaston, Georgia, nestled between Atlanta and Columbus. After high school, Whitney attended Kennesaw State University, where she juggled pre-law classes, work and planning social and charity events for her sorority. This planted the seed for Whitney’s passion in event planning. She may have a degree in political science, but she did not follow her plans to law school. Her passion for event planning continued to grow after college, where she studied the design of conventions and conferences under the Convention Industry Council. She met Brittany Jones in 2017 , fell in love with the Uncorked Occasions team, and the rest is history!
Whitney is a proud wife to her wonderful husband Paul, and mother to their beautiful, smart and funny daughter Carson! When she is not planning, you can find Whitney curled up with a book, a cup of coffee or working on one of her many craft projects!
IVY SNATIAGO
We met Ivy in 2021 when she first began assisting our team with events! Ivy is a graduate of Daytona State College and brings her expertise in hospitality supervision and management to our events.
Currently, she excels in the realm of property management at Euphoria Vacation Rentals in charming St. Augustine. Known for her keen attention to detail, Ivy tackles any challenges that may arise on wedding days, always ensuring a seamless experience. Her warm smile is a constant, welcoming presence for you and your guests. Beyond event assistance, Ivy can assist you in finding the perfect vacation rental for your visit to the nation’s oldest city.
When she not immersed in work, Ivy embraces adventures with her fiancé, showers affection on her adorable puppies, Bruno and Kylo, and cherishes moments with her loved ones. Ivy's commitment to making your experience exceptional extends from events to helping you discover the best of St. Augustine.
